- The who - Everyone in the world
- The what - Being unhappy in any situation
- The why - Some people take a bad route to being unhappy and it takes a toll in their lives
Testing the what - The majority of the people who are unhappy become unhappy because of a certain situation in their lives. It could be because something did not go their way or something happen out of nowhere to make them unhappy. Whatever the case is, everyone becomes unhappy at one point in their lives.
Testing the why - Why do some people take a negative route when they are unhappy is something I really do not know. They are many ways to prevent that specific route but not everyone is the same. Some choose that route thinking it will help but it doesn't. Others have no choice.
Interview #1 - During this interview, the interviewee (regular civilian) said that not everyone is unhappy. That it is only certain people in this world. Which could be true but no one knows for sure. That you're only unhappy when something doesn't go your way. As you get older, you then realize why things happen in life. It's up to you to decide what you're going to do about it.
Interview #2 - In this interview, I have a friend that just got the most horrible news a brother can have. His younger brother was hit and ran over at a street light. No serious injuries but it is something that affects you in many ways. This is a situation that happen out of nowhere and it is very different from other stories. The difference is that in this interview, the interviewee is not unhappy but sad. He hasn't fallen in depression at all. He said that people need a reason to be unhappy like himself for example and that it is only certain people as well. That you have to tighten up and pull through. Have a positive mind and things will come out fine later on.
Interview #3 - This interviewee is an ex military person (army). She thinks it is only people that are in the military that should be unhappy. That their life is worse and it is nothing compare to regular human beings. They go through a lot and no one knows about it or understands them at all. The only choice they have to get through it is to drink and smoke. Something that takes a toll on your body over time and can even kill you if you don't do anything to stop.
Interview #4 - This interviewee is also an ex military person as well (marine). This person also said that it is only people in the military that are unhappy. They go through worst things in life than an average human being. That some of them come out really mess up from it and that no one can help them from what they are going through in their minds. The only way to help themselves is to drink everyday and all day for the rest of the years that you're there for. Some them take an even worst route by killing themselves to get it over it. No help leads to this at times.
Interview #5 - My last interviewee is a college student. He said that everyone is unhappy in their lives. That some start at a very young age and continue until it is overcome, most of the times it is not like that. It is not just certain people or certain situations as well. It could be any and every thing that could make people unhappy. The only way to overcome this to talk to people about your life or forget about it all at once.
Based on my interviews, I notice that almost everyone had the same response. That is only certain people in this world that is unhappy. Those who are unhappy, have a reason to be like that. That it is sometimes easy to overcome this if you have a positive mindset. Only the strong survive, I feel like this goes for everyone though. The people who are unhappy need help because they don't know what else to do. That they are done being in that situation. This surprised me a lot. I would think that it will be everyone who ought to be unhappy but I was wrong. Only time will tell if I was correct at one point.
